Bill Taylor

Atlanta-based bassist and bandleader, active since 1985 with nearly 1,000 documented shows across the Southeast — Southern rock, jam-band improvisation, and Americana, always in service of the song and the room. I actively play in Tribute: A Celebration of the Allman Brothers Band, The Core, and Wolves, Lower: Performing the Songs of R.E.M., record with Jupiter Coyote, and work as an on-call bassist and session musician. Through B. Taylor Artist Management, I book, manage, and represent Allgood, The Core, and Wolves, Lower — and previously managed and played bass for The Bitteroots for 15 years. I’ve held endorsements from MTD Basses and Bartolini pickups and electronics. This site is the archive: where I’ve played, who I’ve shared the stage with, and what came off the board.
